1 It is advisable to do a health check-up per year in order to prevent the transmission of potential diseases to human beings.

2 Cat parasites should be removed internally every four months and externally every month, especially if the cat goes outdoors.

3 An early sterilization is advisable, if medically feasible. This prevents marking problems in males and breast tumours and infections in females.

4 It is advisable to give your pet a high quality food according to its needs (sterilized, obese, uriolithiasic animals…).

 5 It is advisable to put cats older than seven years of age to a simple veterinary control in order to guarantee their well-being.
